Flower Store
“Floral Paradise”
A young modern company, which creates unique bouquets and compositions, decorates events and business space with flowers and plants
Eugenia did an incredible job with our website and branding. She created a beautiful, intuitive design that perfectly reflects our business. The logo and social media graphics she crafted are stunning and have elevated our online presence. Working with her was a pleasure—she’s professional, creative, and attentive to our needs. Highly recommend!

Company Purpose
The company creates bouquets to order, as well as decorates various events with flowers. The main idea of the company is to create fresh bouquets from freshly arrived flowers. The company does not store flowers for several days. In this connection the client gets fresh bouquet always, but the quantity of flowers is limited.
Logo
I took the peony as the basis of the logo, because the peony is the second most popular flower in Russia after the rose. Everyone recognizes this flower. The shapes are round and the flower itself performs a circle – which signifies infinity, perfection and completeness. The logo is chunky, minimalist, easy to use in print and on the web.
Green color symbolizes freshness, closenes to nature, hope and confidence.

Illustrations
I conceived this illustration to show the creative process that takes place in the workshop and the care with which the florists create the bouquet.
The illustration is used in the website as well as on printed materials: flyers, and instructions that come with the bouquets.

Design Sketches
Based on all the Data I get from the User Research and the customers’ requirements I sketched seven different Design Ideas that allow the User to achieve their goals
- First written information about the company than online store
- An immediate offer to buy on the home page. All the other information is in the menu tabs.
- Promoting companies’ features through video messages first, followed by an offer to buy.
- Direct access to main points
- Promoting happiness
- Emphasizing Benefits followed by offer to buy
- Immediate interuction offering

Evaluating Usability
I set evaluation goals which are:
- To evaluate how good my design is and to find out if I’ve done it right.
- To find out if my design helps people meet their needs (find a right bouquet or decorate events)
- To evaluate the usability of interaction with the design. I’m trying to find out if the user is able to find the information they need quickly
I defined metrics which are:
- Effectiveness – the ability to complete the task
- Efficiency – number of clicks to complete a task
- Error rate – the severity of each incorrect action the user makes during the interaction
- Satisfaction – users perceived level of satisfaction
- Emotional engagement – Emergent feelings being fostered through the interaction between the user and the system.
-
Fit within existing practice – The degree to which the system fits in the user’s everyday practices.
After defining tasks, formulating questions and creating a script for a session protocol, I run a usability testing session. I analyzed the data and based on this I made corretions to my design.
