Eugenia took care of everything—from our logo, website design, and graphics for social media to creating a comprehensive brand book that we can use for years to come. Her creativity and attention to detail have truly elevated our non-profit’s presence and helped us connect better with the families we serve. Eugenia not only delivered a beautiful and functional design but also ensured that our brand communicated warmth and trust. Company Purpose
- First and foremost, the company deals with dispute resolution and conflict resolution in couples. But more of this process is not about legal settlements and drafting documents, but about helping (similar to psychological) to restore the relationship or the breakup procedure of the partners. To do this, the company uses an evidence-based approach of mindfulness practices. If the partners cannot be reconciled, the company provides legal assistance.
- The company also conducts courses for couples and separately for partners on improving relationships based on the mindfulness practices of MBRE. This is a system of ancient meditative psychopractices translated into modern scientific language. During the course, partners are helped to become more attentive to each other, improve their relationships, better understand and feel each other.

User group – adult men and women with/or without children who are in conflict with their partners or have been in conflict before.
Problem space – Partners (spouses) are unable to find a common ground, or they face problems that they cannot solve on their own. Conflict leads to great stress for them and most importantly, stress for their children. Deterioration of quality of life in general.
User Research
After identifying the User Group I started to plan a Contextual Interview.
I recruited participants using Word of Mouth. In other words, I asked my customer to give me permission to contact people who were already helped by the company.
I also used Social Media which I personnaly use to find Participants I need.
After analysing the data I get from interview, I created a Persona.
Persona is a working parent, married, 37 years old who is active Internet user. She/he believes in harmonious relationships through conflict resolution. In solving misunderstandings, she/he uses a rational approach, namely, she/he tries to talk to a partner, what does not always lead to a successful result. To avoid conflicts or to resolve them quickly, she/he is ready to do some mindfulness practices (rituals). In case there is no way to resolve a conflict, she/he is willing to get a lawyer. The main goal is the preservation of the family and harmonious relationship without stress.
Design Sketches
Based on all the Data I get from User Research and the Persona I created, I sketched ten different Design Ideas that allow the User to achieve their goals, and fulfill the requirements.
- Simple balanced access to any of the topics
- Promoting success stories
- Set the focus on Mediation and guide through other topics
- Immediate interaction offering
- Focus on team and build trust
- Connection of spiritual wellbeing to relationship
- Expertise and professionalism
- Promoting Happy End
- First passive information than interaction
- Emphasize on privacy and confidentiality
Developing the Design Concept with a Scenario
Based on the feedback that I received from one of the potential Users, I defined my starting design concept which is a mix of simple balanced access to any of the topics and focus on team and build trust. I found out that the most important thing in my website design is quick access to the necessary information and trust in the professionalism of the team.
The user in a conflict needs first of all to be confident and have as little additional stress as possible. Positive site design sets a person in a positive mood. Confidence in the professionalism of the company team causes a person to believe in success.
Character: Megan, 37 years old secretary at the big company, married, with a child.
Goal: She is trying to find a family mediator to help her to solve the conflict with her husband Jeffrey.
Setting: The action takes place during lunch at the office of the company where Megan works. She is sitting at her desk, in front of her monitor, and has opened the Website.
Megan has been in conflict with her husband for months. They do not hear each other, blame each other constantly, and they fight almost every day. Megan is very upset about this. She worries about her marriage and the emotional state of her three-year-old daughter Stephanie, who sees her mom and dad fighting. Now at lunchtime, she has little time to try to find a solution to her conflicts with her husband. She sits at her desk, in front of the monitor. She has opened a family mediation Web site. When she saw that the site had a lot of information on the subject, she got a sense of relief and excitement. With interest, she began to read what mediation is, how it works, and what options exist to resolve conflicts in the family. After that, she moves on to the team section. She reads information about each mediator. She is very excited to read about their professionalism and experience. She chooses the one she thinks is the best. She clicks the “make an appointment” button, chooses a date and time that are convenient for her, and confirms the appointment.

Evaluating Usability
After prototyping, I began to prepare to test my design
I set evaluation goals which are:
- To evaluate how good my design is and to find out if I’ve done it right.
- To find out if my design is helping people find answers for their questions about mediation, legal aspects or mindfulness and get help from professionals.
- To evaluate the usability of interaction with the design. I’m trying to find out if the user is able to find the information they need quickly, and if it causes them additional stress.
I defined metrics which are:
- Effectiveness – the ability to complete the task
- Efficiency – number of clicks to complete a task
- Error rate – the severity of each incorrect action the user makes during the interaction
- Satisfaction – users perceived level of satisfaction
- Emotional engagement – Emergent feelings being fostered through the interaction between the user and the system.
After defining tasks, formulating questions and creating a script for a session protocol, I run a usability testing session.
Creating a Logo
Sunlit man and woman embracing each other.
In accordance with the fact that the purpose of the company is to establish a relationship between partners, I chose a reference that reflects the love and harmony of two people. The pose in which the characters are standing indicates a tender attitude towards each other.
The logo evokes positive emotions. The circle is a symbol of infinity. Namely the endless love of the two partners.
The gradient shows the sunlight, which gives the logo a romanticism.
ORANGE – the color of energy and happiness
The letters are made in BLUE – the color of trust, eternity, constancy, loyalty and stability.
